CEL’s The Nora Project

Creating a More Connected, Compassionate World – Together

CEL’s The Nora Project equips students and educators with the tools to understand and embrace disabilities. The thoughtful and mission-aligned integration into CEL reflects a shared mission to create a more inclusive world.  Your impact is now visible from early stages of life through adulthood, reaching students in classrooms and helping them grow up with the values lived out every day in CEL programs for teens, adults, and seniors.

CEL is a community where individuals with disabilities are known and respected, connect with others who are accepting and welcoming, and are empowered to achieve their hopes and dreams. Choices and rights are respected and quality of life matters, because people with disabilities deserve the same dignity, respect, and options as anyone else.

Everyone should experience life’s possibilities

We see a future where every person with a developmental disability is an equal, valued, and contributing member of the community. Your support builds inclusive classrooms and communities while providing opportunities for the hundreds of members who come to CEL to learn new skills, connect to the community and have fun through meaningful experiences and relationships.

Through the generous financial gifts of people like you, the lasting impact is immense in the lives of educators, students with and without disabilities, CEL members, and their friends, families, loved ones, and communities.

Our two Adult Day Programs (REACH and Catalyst) are designed for adults who have completed high school and are looking for opportunities to keep learning, forge new friendships, grow more independent, and enjoy enriching experiences.

Employment is the pathway to independence! Wherever you are on your employment journey, let us help you along the way.
